Shipping & Returns Policy

This policy applies to all purchases made through Pictures by Stephanie.

1. Order Processing

All orders have a processing time of 2–14 business days. This is the time required to receive, prepare, and carefully pack your order for shipping.

Orders are processed Monday through Friday only. Processing time does not include shipping time.

Processing times may vary depending on artwork type, order volume, seasonal demand, or the handmade nature of the work.

Typical processing times:

  • Fine art prints: up to 14 business days

  • Original artworks: approximately 4–6 weeks

You will receive an order confirmation email after purchase, followed by a shipping notification once your order has been dispatched.

Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive these emails.

2. Packaging, Insurance & Tracking

All orders are carefully packaged to help ensure they arrive safely.

All orders are shipped fully insured.

Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Most shipments are handled through FedEx; however, depending on destination, size, or service availability, we may also use Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, Canpar, ICS, DHL, Loomis, or Dragonfly.

We do not ship to PO Boxes.

We do not offer local pickup.

All shipments are arranged directly from the studio for courier pickup and delivery.

3. Shipping Policy (Quote Required)

All shipping is calculated individually per order.

Shipping costs are not included in product pricing and are not calculated at checkout.

After purchase (or upon request for larger or custom pieces), shipping will be quoted based on size, weight, destination, insurance requirements, and carrier rates.

A shipping quote will be provided for approval prior to shipment.

Orders will not be shipped until shipping costs have been confirmed and approved.

4. Oversized & Overweight Orders

Additional shipping charges apply to oversized or overweight items.

Oversized items are defined as any artwork measuring 36 inches or larger in any direction. Overweight items are defined as packages weighing 50 lbs or more.

Due to handling requirements and carrier limitations, oversized items are currently only available for delivery within the Greater Toronto Area.

Shipping for oversized or overweight items is always quoted separately and must be approved prior to shipment.

5. Shipping to the United States & International Destinations

We proudly ship worldwide.

All U.S. and international orders require a shipping quote prior to fulfillment.

Please include your full shipping address so accurate carrier rates and insurance can be calculated.

International customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or related charges required by their country.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

6. Estimated Shipping Times

Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Canada: approximately 2–7 business days

  • United States: approximately 4–10 business days

  • International: approximately 7–21 business days or longer depending on customs and carrier delays

Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, carrier delays, customs processing, holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Please note that during sales, holidays, or busy seasonal periods, processing and shipping times may be longer than usual.

7. Original Artwork & Fine Art Prints

Original artworks are carefully prepared and packaged to protect their one-of-a-kind nature.

Fine art prints are made to order, and processing times may vary slightly depending on production volume.

Minor variations in color may occur due to differences in monitor settings and printing processes.

8. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

All sales are final.

Due to the nature of original artwork and made-to-order printed products, we do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order has been placed.

As each painting is one-of-a-kind, we are unable to offer exchanges for original artworks.

Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. 

9. Damaged, Missing, Lost or Stolen Packages

If your order arrives damaged or an item is missing, please contact us immediately at picturesbystephanie@hotmail.com.

We may request photographs of the damaged item, packaging, and shipping materials to assess the issue.

Claims for damaged or missing items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

We are not responsible for stolen or lost packages where proof of delivery has been provided by the shipping carrier.

When placing an order, please include any special delivery instructions (for example: “Do not leave in lobby”) to help avoid delivery issues.

If a package appears lost in transit, please contact us and we will assist where reasonably possible.

10. Risk During Transit

Once an order has been shipped and tracking information has been provided, responsibility for delivery transfers to the shipping carrier.

While we are not responsible for delays, loss, theft, or damage occurring during transit, we will make reasonable efforts to assist in resolving shipping-related issues.
